Strong tremors were felt in #Kolkata on Friday afternoon, raising panic among residents in the city and neighbouring areas.

The earthquake, estimated at a magnitude of 4.9, struck at around 1.22 pm, with its epicentre located just 3 km inside #Bangladesh near the India-Bangladesh border.
